Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Setup

• Best case, you’re missing out on sweet-sweet website data

• Worst case, you’re not tracking any sales in Google Ads

What’s included?

• Setting up a new account (if you’re new to Analytics) or a new property (if you have an old GAU account).

• Linking GAU to GA4

• Installing GA4 on your website

• Linking GA4 to Google Ads

• Website referral exclusions (don’t want PayPal getting all the credit for your sales)

• Cross-domain tracking

PLUS, for Shopify, I’ll also:

• Perform a data layer setup (so you can see the exact $ in GA4)

• If you have Google Ads, I’ll review and - if needed - set up a conversion action (so you can see the exact $ that Google Ads is making you)

• Add enhanced conversion tracking (this resolves the iOS14 issues you may have heard about)

• I’ll send an overview of the setup

• Monitor the conversions for 7 days (making sure the tracking is stable)

• Clean up any historical GAU conversion actions
